The Maltese Table: Food, Culture & Wellbeing by the Sea
A week in Malta exploring culinary heritage, wellness, and Mediterranean living, where shared tables, movement, and culture come together.
Food & Wellness
There’s a rhythm to Malta that moves between land and sea — sun-warmed stone, salt air, and a table culture shaped by centuries of Mediterranean exchange. From April 25 to May 2, Terroir Hospitality invites you to experience that rhythm through food, movement, and connection.
This is not a typical holiday. It’s a week-long exploration of Malta’s landscapes, flavours, and history — designed for people who love good food, outdoor adventure, and mindful movement. You’ll stay in boutique hotels that blend local character with contemporary comfort, and discover how Phoenician, North African, Italian, and British influences have shaped Maltese cuisine — from pastizzi and timpana to rabbit stew and fresh-caught fish.
We’ll wander Valletta’s golden streets, meet local producers, and share meals in farmhouses and fishing villages where hospitality runs deep.
Each morning begins with a Pilates session led by Ana Ćukić — restorative, energizing, and open to all levels. Just bring a long resistance band; mats are provided. It’s the perfect way to ground yourself before the day’s explorations.

Your Pilates Instructor
As a former Cirque du Soleil athlete turned Pilates instructor, Ana Cukic brings 20+ years of elite movement experience to every class. Ana discovered Pilates while performing in “O” in Las Vegas, and it quickly became more than cross-training—it became my foundation. She’s been a BASI-certified instructor since 2008. Pilates grounds her and loves the saying, “you have to feel to heal.” It’s a daily practice in breath, body awareness, and resilience. Ana’s goal is to inspire her clients to move with intention, breathe for support, and connect more fully to their bodies. Her classes are creative, dynamic, and rooted in purpose—designed to keep one present, engaged, and continually learning. Nothing excites her more than seeing clients discover those deeper connections through mindful movement, whether in a restorative flow, a strength-based session, or a high-intensity challenge.
